Notes: P-16 (Perfect-16) Laserdisc and VHS contains episodes 46 and 47 with "Koyasai Sanbonjime" (a sanbonjime is a Japanese clapping ritual done to honour the close of an event) designated as episode 48, which was a bonus collection of staff and cast interviews that was done after the final recording session for the series and was never aired on TV. Plus the New OVA Series episode "All Quite at the SV2". The S-16 (Standard-16) only contains the New OVA Series episode "All Quite at the SV2". A reversible cover was also issued for the P-16 VHS version to celebrate the sales of one million Patlabor videos. All versions contain a P-Club booklet.

The box set also contains TV commercials, Music Clips, Concert Tour '92, "Koyasai Sanbonjime" (a sanbonjime is a Japanese clapping ritual done to honour the close of an event) designated as TV episode 48, which was a bonus collection of staff and cast interviews that was done after the final recording session for the series and was never aired on TV, and a 52 page booklet.

Also includes all 7 original OVA episodes (with audio commentary for episodes 2, 5 and 6) and volume 6 Kawaraban, all 47 TV episodes (with audio commentary for episode 44), Patlabor the Live Action Movie Pilot, Music Clips and Concert Tour '92. Included on the audio commentaries are Mamoru Oshii, Yutaka Izubuchi, Akemi Takada, Masami Yuuki, Hiroko Kasahara (who performed "Condition Green", the second opening theme song for the TV series), Ryunosuke Ohbayashi (voice actor for Kiichi Goto), Yoshiko Sakakibara (voice actor for Shinobu Nagumo), Shigeru Chiba (voice actor for Shigeo Shiba), Toshio Furukawa (voice actor for Asuma Shinohara) and Miina Tominaga (voice actor for Noa Izumi).
