Notes: This soundtrack album is identical in terms of content to its Japanese release. It contains instrumental pieces from "Patlabor 2 the movie" by Kenji Kawai. The "P2" moniker is what the film was sometimes referred to in promotional material. This is a nod to "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" being promoted as "T2" two years prior.

Patlabor 2 The Movie (Original Soundtrack "P2")
Notes: 2021 reissue of album by Swiss based We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records. This soundtrack album is identical in terms of content to its Japanese release, but is the first time the album has been issued on vinyl. It contains instrumental pieces from "Patlabor 2 the movie" by Kenji Kawai. The "P2" moniker is what the film was sometimes referred to in promotional material. This is a nod to "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" being promoted as "T2" two years prior. The vinyl versions released include 500 copies on yellow and red ink spot vinyl, 500 copies on silver vinyl and the remainder on standard black vinyl. All vinyl versions come in a heavy gate fold sleeve and with an obi like Japanese vinyl releases. A compact disc version was also issued in a digipak. All versions of the release come with liner notes by Masaaki Hara and a bonus digital download of the album.
